News ReleaseLEAD San Diego Strengthens and Expands BoardJanuary 5, 2008 (San Diego) - LEAD San Diego started 2008 strong by adding five new trustees to its growing Board of Directors. The Board now has twenty-three active members representing a diverse group of community leaders. Newly elected to the Board are Bill Trumpfheller, President and CEO, Nuffer Smith Tucker , Jon Bailey, Bailey Gardiner and Associates; Dan Murphy, Principal Emeritus, Barney and Barney; Trace Wilson, Director of Development, Westfield LLC and Rosana Herrera Ortega, an attorney specializing in business, employment and labor law. “We’ve had a great year of progress,” said Board Chair Kristy Gregg, “We are now poised to identify opportunities to take the organization to the next level and have a greater impact on the region. This Board will play an integral part in developing and implementing our Business and Marketing Plans as we move forward.” LEAD San Diego has been developing civic leaders for more than twenty-five years and will continue to educate and empower civic leaders who can understand and respond to ever-changing challenges facing the region.
