As part of LEAD’s community engagement efforts, LEAD graduates are provided opportunities to work on service projects as another way to give back to our community.
In many cases, these efforts affect positive change for nonprofit organizations who are stretched thin or are in under-resourced communities. For many LEAD alumni, community service is the most fulfilling way to “pay it forward.”
While LEAD graduates typically keep busy calendars, on occasion, we seek their assistance in engaging in short-term task-force volunteer opportunities to address specific needs of area non-profit agencies. In general, these projects last for a short period and leverage the skills of LEAD’s vast graduate network.
A benefit of being a member of the LEAD Alumni Association is connecting with an extraordinary network of business and community leaders that continues to grow throughout the region.
It is through this network that we are able to provide LEAD alumni, as well as others, with volunteer opportunities.
