In the spring of 2003, the LEAD San Diego Graduate Council determined that there should be a annual event to provide an opportunity for active graduates to network in a unique social setting and to allow LEAD San Diego an opportunity to thank current members for their on-going community service. The LEAD Board of Directors and Graduate Council designed this event as a special thank you to the ever-growing number of LEAD Graduates and to commemorate over two decades of outstanding leadership and service to the San Diego region.

This year, over 150 guests celebrated in Sky High Style at the Ultimate Sky Box atop Diamond View Tower at the Ballpark. The incredible view and setting made for a memorable evening. The event committee, led by Victoria Garrison (99), outdid themselves with the venue. The outdoor patio deck featured luxury seating and fireplace while providing what many declared was “the best view in San Diego.”

Board Chair Kristy Gregg welcomed the guests which included members of the current Class of 2008. Vice Chair Larry Fitch provided thanks to current members and encouragement to the future graduates. A mobile photo studio provided by LEAD San Diego and portrait photographer Melissa Jacobs provided an on-site opportunity for Graduates to update their head shots for the new LEAD Directory.
