LEAD San Diego offers C-level and senior executives who are newly relocated to San Diego, or new to their position, an accelerated regional education and civic and community leadership program that is specifically designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of key regional issues and to meet significant political and community leaders. Best of all, this program takes place in just two days, plus a half-day orientation session.

INFLUENCE SAN DIEGO topics include the vision for San Diego's future, the political landscape, the regional economy, education, health and human services, environment and growth, arts and culture, the sports industry, military, tourism, Mexico and the international region, among others. This influence-packed seminar equips you with exceptional access to San Diego's leaders across multiple sectors.

Embark San DiegoEMBARK SAN DIEGO

EMBARK SAN DIEGO is LEAD's newest contribution to future leadership in the San Diego region. This program, designed for professionals just beginning to represent themselves and their company, will help launch them into civic, community, and professional involvement and engagement. LEAD San Diego will design and deliver seminars which focus on critical information pertaining to the social, economic and political issues which affect communities, business and government in San Diego. Each session will feature leading experts and key community leaders who are active in the issue at hand. Overall, EMBARK SAN DIEGO will provide participants with the necessary skill development to excel in their respective professional positions.

Sessions will run from February 2010 to April 2010 for a total of four full-day sessions taking place at UCSD's Extension, in Mission Valley Center.
